Features:
Dense Fused Alumina(DFA), a novel high-purity refractory material, is produced through the fusion of high-purity alumina and a reducing agent in specific proportions. The mixture is then smelted in an electric arc furnace and subsequently cooled. This material primarily consists of α-Al2O3 crystal phase and exhibits a light gray color.
The fused dense corundum is one of the first-choice raw materials for the production of high-performance unshaped and shaped refractory materials.
1. It's widely used in industries such as steel, cement, ceramics, petrochemicals, etc.
2. It's the main raw materials for making blast furnace iron trough castables, ladle castables, ramming materials, preforms, and other unshaped refractory materials.
3. It's an ideal raw material for various shaped products such as three continuous casting pieces, aire bricks, nozzle block bricks, etc.
4. It's also an excellent material for making steel-making long nozzles, skateboards, and various corundum bricks.

For the fused dense corundum, the chemical composition of Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3, K2O, and Na2O needs to be tested, also very strict with the inspection of the bulk density.
The bulk density of dense corundum can reach 3.91 g/cm3.
The melting temperature reached 2300℃ and we spent 24 hours melting in order to pursue the high quality. For the stability of quality, our furnace is always non-stop, unless there is force majeure.
All our melting furnaces are tilting furnaces with a diameter of 6.5 m.
We use a Photoelectric flame photometer.
Our annual output of dense corundum is 30,000 tons.
