Fused Alumina Magnesia Spinel

Fused Alumina Magnesia Spinel is a novel type of high-purity synthetic refractory material produced by melting alumina and high-purity light-burned magnesia in an electric tilting furnace at temperatures exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius, followed by rapid cooling.

Applications

1. It's widely used to iron & steel, cement and industrial kilns industries, etc

2. It's mainly used to produce high grade alumina-magnesia brick, high performance alumina-magnesia castables, sliding nozzle, ladle brick, top brick for open hearth furnace etc.

3. It's a ideal material to replace magnesia-chrome refractories. In addition, it is used in refractory products, prefabricated parts, and unshaped refractory materials.

For the magnesium aluminum spinel, the chemical composition of Al2O3, MgO, SiO2, Fe2O3, CaO Moisture, and LOI need to be tested, and the content of Al2O3 and MgO needs to be above 98%.

  • 1. What is the magnesium content of your spinel?

    Our spinels are divided into four series according to the difference in magnesium and aluminum content: MA-72 (MgO≤24-28%), MA-75 (MgO≤21-24%), MA-78 (MgO≤16-21%), MgO≤11-16%). If you have other specifications, all can be customized.

  • 2. What is the melting temperature and melting time?

    We achieve a melting temperature of 2300℃ and dedicate 24 hours to the melting process, aiming for superior quality. To ensure consistent quality standards, our furnace operates continuously unless there are unavoidable circumstances./p>

  • 3. What is the type of melting furnace of your dense corundum? Tilting or fixed?

    All our melting furnaces are Tilting with 6.5 m diameter.

  • 4. What about your production capacity of spinel?
